J.P. Marcos

J.P. focuses on Restructurings and Capital Solutions. At Alastar, J.P. has worked across multiple engagements, including managing day-to-day CRO workstreams in a Chapter 11 filing for a fiber construction business that culminated in a going-concern sale preserving 400+ jobs, structured financing advisory for a $25 billion asset manager, and lender-side advisory in a cross-border Chapter 11 proceeding. Prior to joining Alastar, J.P. spent two years at Riveron in the Restructuring and Turnaround Services practice, where he led liquidity forecasting and cash flow management across debtor-side advisory engagements for sponsor-backed middle market businesses across aerospace, specialty finance, and consumer products. J.P. graduated from Wake Forest University with a B.A. in Philosophy and minors in Economics and Politics & International Affairs. He is a member of the TMA, AIRA, and ABI.
